Description African Journal of Internal Medicine (AJIM) (ISSN: 2326-7283) as a multi-disciplinary, open access research journal is to provide a publication outlet (on monthly basis) for the increasing flow of scholarly research articles. AJIM purpose is to improve communications among cardiologists, endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, hematologists, nephrologists, neurologists, pulmonologists, learned societies and within the academic and other research communities, policymakers and operational decision makers. In the view of AJIM, internal medicine is the medical specialty that deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of adult diseases.
