Description International Journal of Lean Thinking(IJLT) welcomes contributions on research related to the lean manufacturing, production and distribution planning, logistics and supply chain management, mathematical modeling of engineering, manufacturing and industrial systems and also applied statistics, nonlinear modelling, data mining, econometric modelling and time series. A significant emerging area of research activity involves meta-heuristics and artificial intelligent systems (fuzzy sets theory, genetic algorithms, artificial neural networks etc.), and contributions in these areas are particularly encouraged. IJLT publishes high quality, original papers that contribute to the methodology of management engineering, lean manufacturing and to the theory and the practice of decision making. The relation with ongoing research should be demonstrated by providing proper reference to the recent literature. IJLT is a very rapid response journal with two issues(June-December) published every year.
